Becoming a wizard at Universal Studios
The top attraction at the moment is Harry Potter and I can see why! The replica of Hogwarts was brilliant. Wandering through the school, with its great attention to detail, made waiting in line feel like I was on one of the rides. The ride itself is something else!
Beware going on this ride if you get motion sickness as you are thrown about why being part of a 3D visual experience. I’ll admit I had to close my eyes a few times as the visuals were too overwhelming and my stomach didn’t know which way was up!
My next favourite ride was Jurassic Park. The details on the dinosaurs were amazing! The neck defying 80 feet drop wasn’t! I’m sure that my body is made to withstand that kind of drop. Still it was fun once it was over. Next up were some favourite creations…
Let’s go behind the scenes
I liked the old school “behind the scenes” tour. As well as giving me time to recover from the rides it was also exciting to where so many great movies and TV shows have been made over the years. From Jaws, to Desperate Housewives, to the Fast and the Furious and Back to the future!!
