I’ve visited Singapore’s Botanic Gardens a few times and never fail to find something new and magnificent each time. This time I ventured into the National Orchid Garden within the Botanic Gardens. The cost is only S$5.
The garden has a collection of more than 1,000 species and 2,000 hybrids of orchids. Here are some of my favourites:

Travel tips:
- Go at 8.30am when the garden opens as it’s pleasant to walk around and there aren’t too many people.
- Put on mosquito repellent as they are just waiting for you to pause and take a photo!
