It was a beautiful evening to explore the South Coast in search of interesting photos to take in the evening light. I experimented with viewing the sunset in different ways and these were my favourite shots of the day.
A special thanks goes out to Simon Woolf who gave his time to me recently to talk about photography and share some tips with me (including that my second shot would look way better with less of the dark foreground and cropped into a panoramic format). Simon is somewhat of a photography legend in New Zealand and it was brilliant experience for me to find such a fantastic mentor. Thanks Simon.
