A short day trip out of Luang Prabang is to jump on a river boat heading to Pak Ou Caves.
The boats are small with tiny wooden chairs to sit on. Don’t expect to be able to feel your backside by the time you arrive!
There are two main caves that you’re able to visit at the same location. I liked the second cave better. That might’ve had something to do with the fact that it was a steep climb up some steps so it felt like I had really earned something beautiful.
