Chiang Mai (my base for the next month) is a city of temples as it has over 400 temples at last count. I’ve visited 3 so far. Only 397 to go!
My first was Wat Phan On, which I discovered when I was wandering the streets of the old city to see what I could find.
My second was Wat Phan Tao. This temple is unique as it is the only wooden temple in Chiang Mai.
My third was the much larger Wat Pha Singh. The monks were having lunch inside the temple when I was there. They seemed completely oblivious to the tourists wandering around.
